The Bénichon Harvest festival
The “Bénichon” is a centuries-old, traditional celebration of the end of the harvest and the descent of the cows to their winter pastures in the Fribourg region of Switzerland. The Benichon of Châtel-St-Denis takes place on the third Sunday of October.
